M.A., LPC, LAC
As I move through my sixties, my focus is giving back the gifts of insight and understanding that I’ve received through my personal and professional experiences. Professionally, it started with a bachelor’s degree in music education and teaching high school choral music, guitar, and English. That progressed to a master’s degree in counseling, precipitating what has seemed like a whirlwind life of counseling, teaching, consulting, and lifelong learning about the challenges of facing our emotional landscape and the coping strategies we apply to managing them. The settings have included employee assistance programs, outpatient treatment, private practice, and consulting for business and government. My passion is assisting those who seek me out to find alignment and integration of their experiences, positive and negative, into their lives….and to give back to those entering the profession the sense of stewardship and fulfillment possible in these interactions.
